Wedding gowns come in all shades with ivory and champagne still very popular, but dresses also come in bolder colours to give customers more choice.

Gowns in chiffon, tulle and other floaty soft fabrics create a light delicate style that makes them ideal for summer climates. Have a wrap made for cooler evenings.

Consider the venue and the wedding theme before you choose your dress.  A formal gown is an ideal dress for a traditional church ceremoney but a civil ceremony you can go for anything that you desire.

Take care when choosing your dress to make sure you get something that suits your body shape.  A fuller figure should stay clear of gathers around the waist. If you veer on the petite side, choose a dress with a plain bottom half and avoid large details such as bows and flowers. If you are planning to shape up for the big day, bear in mind your body size, will need to be taken into account nearer the day.

If you plan to get married abroad choose a dress that is easily transported, and fairytale trains will be easier to manage if they are detachable or have a loop on them.

Remember, you want a dress  that not only highlights you best bits but one that make you feel like a million dollars.
